I recently purchased a 2000 sq ft home in Prairieville area. My wife would like to hire someone to do a deep clean. What can I expect to pay?

Just went through this in the Baton Rouge area.

$1,100 for a 4,800 square foot house. But the previous occupant had an estate sale and hundreds of people tracked through the house a few weeks earlier. They had their work cut out for them, but they did a very good job.

A newer, cleaner 2,000 square foot house would be about half that.

Having hired a few cleaner services for move in and move out over the the last few years. 300-500 dollars would be what I would expect to pay.

$300-500

We usually got it once a year or so. The lady comes early in the morning and usually stays close to 8 hours

$300-500 that others are putting out there sounds about the norm. Could actually be in the $200-300 range if it's before you move any furniture/boxes in.

What is defined as a “deep clean”?

Post-build cleaning is more expensive or if it’s really dirty and requires special services.

A typical “deep clean”, as in 1-step beyond the standard weekly/bi-weekly maintenance cleaning, I’d expect that $300-500 range.

4 people. Rounds out to about $100 per hour.

House was really dirty, but it's super clean now.

Wish we had folks who do this in Bay St. Louis. My house needs it bad…
