What are the going rates these day for drywall hang and finish? 90-100 board project. I provide rock only. Waiting for a quote back now and doing a little research.

Whatever it is, I would be happy to pay it. Drywall SUCKS. IF I go to hell, I'll be hanging drywall and painting for eternity.

IMO hanging drywall is super easy. Now, finishing is another story. Lol

I’ve used quite a few different crews over the last few years. Prices vary pretty drastically from what I’ve noticed. Make sure whomever you use is reputable.

It's for sure labor intensive with all that overhead work for ceilings, and even more so with using 5/8" like I did in my downstairs man cave.

I only do it for myself now since at age 70, my days of hauling in, hanging and finishing rock for other people is a distant memory.

Unlike you, I actually liked finishing the stuff and found that to be the easy part.

labor only is like 0.50/SF or at least it used to be. Honestly you’d be better off buying a furnish and install contractor. I hang tens of thousands of sheets every year and we’ve tried it every which way. Hire a drywall contractor and have some peace of mind

in the commercial world the framing sub hangs the rock and the painter finishes. On the residential side the drywall sub finishes

Ceiling height, and finished corners like windows and wall/ ceilings play a part but I pay .60-.65 per sqft on average for my houses for a slick finish
