Do you do your own pesticide program or us a company?

I use a basic hand pump sprayer with Talstar. Spray a band around home perimeter from the ground up about 2' high and about 2' out from home
I also have had great results with Supreme and Cy-Kick.
If you're in need of combatting scorpions go with Cy-Kick.

Pump sprayer with Bifenthrin from tractor supply inside and outside. Just did so yesterday.

Do it yourself and save a fortune. As mentioned anything with Bifenthrin 7.9% works well. Talstar is the name brand but there are many generics that work the same.

Mix 1 ounce of this with 1 gallon of water in a pump sprayer and spray outside around the perimeter of your house as mentioned above and spray around your baseboards, under sinks, behind fridges, etc. inside your home. Once it's dry it's safe for children and pets.
There are also many other good pest control products on that DoMyOwn website and I mix up what I spray every so often so the bugs don't get resistant. Good luck.

I also use Talstar P. Stuff is great and takes maybe 15-20 mins every couple months.

I hire a guy, comes once a quarter. I try to mess with chemicals as little as possible. $100 a quarter

How does it work on wasp? I have been at all out war with them lately.

Bifen products don’t have instant knockdown but if you spray the surfaces where the wasps usually build nests it will kill them or prevent them from building nests. We spray it in our shooting houses every spring. We spray walls, ceilings etc and nothing but dead wasps on the floor in the fall and no new nests.

Yeah we started doing it about 7-8 years ago and it’s really been a game changer. Used to we had to fight basketball sized wasp nests every fall which sucked. Now I’m fighting a war to keep the rats out if anyone has any tips.

Pay a local company to spray quarterly.
It’s one of the few bills I pay happily.
When I bought the house it had been empty for a few months and the wasps and what not had taken over. I tried to fight them on my own, but finally called the pros and haven’t regretted it since.

We started using this company a few months ago. They come out every 6-8 weeks and spray according to the season and what is needed. I think it's about $70/month. Since I take care of all the other yard work it's worth paying for the spray service.

$840 is a year is too pricey for me to pay to spray for bugs. Some bifenthrin and a pump sprayer would cost about $50 and you could spray it yourself for a couple of years on one bottle.
