Gents, I'm hoping to get some serious responses here on the MB. I'm looking at possibly adding a detached two car garage to my property. Something similar to this: 2 car garage
Does anyone have any clue what the cost would be? I know lots of factors, but some sort of ball park? 25k? 50k? 100k?

Pouring a new slab? Do you have electricity already there? Are you finishing out above the garage? What about HVAC? Not finished out will be close to $40,000. I would get rid of the shingles in the front for sure and do hardi plank. You can do rock on the front and under the porch and make it pop. Use the hardi sheets inside the garage to finish out.

Good questions: I will be pouring a slab. I do not plan on finishing out above the garage no more than plywood down to be able to store crap. HVAC will be covered with mini-splits. Yeah, shingles will go and I will probably use hardi and brick to match the house (HOA).

I'm not trying to be a smartass but offering this as a legitimate concern to address:
Does your HOA allow detached garages?
Also, maybe check with them as to the exact siting setback conditions and architectural constraints, etc to minimize any potential delays for your review/permitting process.
This also goes for the municipality or parish/county.
Ostensibly, these folks work for and with you.
Good luck.

Thanks soccer. There are multiple detached garages in our neighborhood. Majority of the houses are on acre lots so I should not have much issues there

I'm in the process of putting up a 3 car 44x40 garage. I'm about 75% done and will probably end up spending $110 to 120k

I’m in the process of building an 1800 sq ft detached building. 900 sq ft of shop space, 900 sq ft of a 1 bdrm apartment “mother in law suite.”
I’ve had the concrete sitting there with rough in plumbing for a couple years now but that cost me just under $10k. To frame 10on10 roof pitch (gotta match house bc of covenants), shingle, and wrap this building with board an batton vinyl + 6 windows, 2 metal insulated doors, and a roll up garage door was right at $50k.
It’ll be another $20k to insulate, wire for electrical, run plumbing in the walls, Sheetrock and ship lap walls.

4 or 5 years ago it would've been closer to 75-80k. Everything went up significantly...some things like garage doors and windows were nearly double what they were 4 years ago.
I should mention that I did have quite a few trees to remove and excavation that you might not have if you're in an established lot. That was probably 10k of it.
That being said I'm looking at 60ish per square foot. For the size you linked, that would put you in the 40 to 50k range.
