Right. 1500W. Not 1500kW.

At 1500kW I don’t think you need to worry about being cold anymore.

It is a covered porch. I got a 120V 1500W space heater to test out and I know if I got 2 more them, it wouldn't do diddly.

I'm looking into having a electrician come run 2 240v outlets and getting these now:

If you are going to get an electrician to run the wiring, personally I wouldn't make them outlets or at least hide the outlets. They are going to mounted up high right? I guess an outlet probably makes sense, but I'd try to hide the outlet and wiring behind the heater. Not just have a cord runnings 10ft from the wall type of thing.

I might even really decide to spend some money and make them flush mount.

Costco sells some heaters that are 120v and project heat. You should check into them, they work great.

I have a little 10k BTU radiant kerosene heater, will put out plenty of heat and is silent. Can get 25k BTU versions too. Even going with the highly-refined KleneHeat fuel the are pretty economical to run. Add in a bit of kero-clean to keep the wick clean and they are practically maintenance free.
