They’ve got some new leaves sprouting so I wasn’t sure.
I didn’t get around to it yet but planned to this weekend.

You can’t kill them, so, sure.

This.
We had some in our backyard and decided to get rid of them. What worked for me was tying them to the back of my truck and pulling them out roots and all

They are indestructible, cut away.
I dug up a 30 year old myrtle, used a chainsaw to cut the roots, replanted it 2 weeks later, grew like a weed!

Cut a couple off at the ground with a chainsaw... both grew back

Cut a bunch down in my backyard, dug up I thought most of the roots and those frickers are still sprouting back up

no need to trim back unless want to shape or reduce size. They will bloom just fine without cutting.

People hate them but I wish I could grow some from the trees I have.

there’s a bunch in and around my property they are pretty easy to dig up and transplant well. I like them

On a mature tree, just trim anything smaller than 1/2"
