Not to insult your intelligence, but be sure all of the tires have the correct amount of air in them before you start changing out parts. Mine started cutting unevenly recently and that’s what my problem was. The tires looked fine when I wasn’t cutting, but when I sat down on it, one tire was squatting.

Yea I’ve done that. Actually changed one that wouldn’t keep air.
Put level on deck.. it’s good.
Blades aren’t rocking, or giving, when hand turned.. so don’t think it’s
The spindle

I just recently purchased a Scag freedom Z. I went to buy a Hustler Raptor XD, but the Scag just seemed better made. I would take a hard look at the Scag Liberty Z for your situation.

I'm at year 14 on my Gravely ZTR 42" residential model (stamped deck) with the Kawasaki.
It smokes a little now, burns some oil, and I've replaced 2 pulleys, but 14 years is strong.

That doesn't tell you anything.
You need to measure the distance from blade tip to ground on each blade, and then rotate them 180* and do it again. If whatever is low follows the blade end, it's a bent blade. If the low measurement is in the same spot regardless of blade orientation, its a bent deck or spindle.

If I only had a half acre to mow, I'd be getting a traditional lawn tractor with a suicide knob and a little soft side ice chest hung off it.
Or, maybe one of them new electric rigs.

1/2 acre, get you a little 36" Snapper. Forrest Gump style. Not joking either, that's all you need.
I have a 42" Big Dog that I have no idea of the hours as there is no meter. I'm at least the 3rd owner and I cut about 1.5 acre yard once a week. It doesn't skip a beat. It has to be at least 8-10 years old. Kawasaki motor. Fabricated deck.

Agreed…if the body is level and the deck is level, it has to be the boss on the deck that the spindle fits in. Not too good a thing to hear, unless you can somehow adjust it.
