Black plastic (front bumper). Strips on side of car between doors looks like rubber. I have a Toyota highlander. Would the same product for these things work on tires?

We have a Highlander as well and I have had good luck with meguair’s ultimate black to keep the trim from looking faded.

Wolfgang best trim product I've used. Never used on tires though.

303 marine UV protectant will keep them black. It will restore it somewhat but it is more of a protectant. Most things that make it look better are just dressings and not really restoring the look.
I never tried it on tires. I usually use a matte product, the best I have tried was Gyeon quartz Q2 tire. It doesn't sling and it lasts a long time. Now I only worried about tires when I had sports cars, right now I am down to just an SUV so they just get washed, IDGAF how they look as long as they are cleanish.

Have had good success with this product but wouldn’t use on tires:
Carworx Finish Restorer
Little bit goes a long way.

Solution Finish. It honestly lasts months. Better than anything else I have tried and is what retailers use.

For restoring black trim shine and appearance, my brother-in-law and I ( who each have to take care of 4 family cars) each have used and can vouch for a product called "Wipe New". Much more permanent shine restoration than any ArmorAll type product.

I use solution finish, allow to dry/cure for a day then hit it with ceramic spray wax.

I don't think I've ever seen a quintuple post before.
That's amazing.

I believe he responded individually to each suggestion, which is also impressive.

Try Mother’s “Back to Black. Used it many years ago and liked it. Readily available, too.

This
Trim-Coat
It takes some prep and care to not get on your paint (I would use blue tape to tape off the trim).
But it lasts a long time.
