Buy the manual one and insert a tire nipple. Air it up and you’re good to go.

But tons of 4 wheeler and tractor options. You could put something in a truck bed, have someone sit on the back, and spray from there. For example. You should absolutely not dick with residential crap, half of it is made for residential use like once a month.

We don’t have a 4 wheeler or side by side as that would make the choice a lot easier.

Last year when we borrowed a 20 gallon tank we tried it in the bed of the truck. Had the idea of running it to my battery and just sit in the truck and spray out the window. The wires were just a little short to reach my battery and I’m kind of glad I didn’t go that route. The inside of my truck would have been a mess between the residual water leaking from the wand and the black marks left by the hose. Ultimately, had to hook to a separate battery in the bed of my truck and spray while my wife drove.

Just looking for different options as I really need to spray now. Seems like the battery sprayers would be okay other than maybe being a little heavy. It’s a job to spray it all and want to make it as easy as I can for myself.

You could get something like a wagon I meant. Something you can pull or push a 5 gallon bucket.

If you don’t have a commercial backpack manual pump sprayer, I’d look hard at one of those.

There’s a lot of 12v sprayer options also, that you hook up to a battery. Think small car battery I mean.

Also, there’s converter options for batteries. You can put a dewalt battery on a Milwaukee tool these days

You don’t have a big mower? Do you have anything? Living on 20 acres without some land working equipment is gonna be tough

Yeah big Kubota ZD326 for the parts that I keep mowed. This is mainly along the sides of the driveway and down the center where grass wants to grow where I don’t want it to. Grass makes grading the driveway a mess.

you can tell in this thread who has a long gravel driveway and who doesn’t OP I have the same situation almost 1/4 mile of stone drive with a verdant strip of green going down the middle. My neighbor had a 4 wheeler tank she used to spray it for me but my wife will not allow chemicals on the compound any longer so I have another neighbor come scrape it with his grader. Kinda overkill and doesn’t help you but I feel your pain

I have all dewalt tools but couldn’t pay the price. Bought a 4gal black and decker battery powered off Amazon for maybe 120$. Thing is awesome. I’m gonna buy another soon.

I’ve had dewalt for a few years. No issues, but it’s heavy. If I recall correctly, main complaints when I was researching it were something about the filter and pump? Probably people not cleaning it and letting it sit. I clean mine and run water through it every time before I put it up and have had zero issues. Only complaint is it’s heavy. I use mine for weed killer and bug spray.

I have a Ridgid 18V 4-gallon backpack sprayer and have no complaints. Lifetime warranty as long as you register it.

For a cheaper option - I just bought a 4 gallon Scotts for $95 on Walmarx. Used it once and really liked it. It had really high reviews and I concur so far. The gun contains the batter and is rechargeable. The gun can also connect to a one gallon bottle instead of the 4 gallon backpack.

Suggestion - this goes for all backpack sprayers. Put in on a table when filling it up so you can easily put it on your shoulders. Lifting the unit with full tank from the ground and slinging over shoulders is kind of tough.

I have never felt the need to have a battery powered backpack sprayer.
That's because even seasoned at 75yo you don't know what you don't know. For if you did know, you'd never go back.

Battery powered sprayers are a very nice upgrade over a hand pump sprayer. I don't have a backpack version but I do use a Scotts Professional 2 gallon battery operated sprayer since last year and it is awesome. The battery and pump are in the screw in top. Super easy to use and store.
