Just wondering if any of the outdoor brands on Amazon are better than another. Obviously the vast majority are chinese brands (I think) that I've never heard of

I'm not extremely price conscious but i do need 10 double sets as we have a fairly large house, so not top of the line either

Last thing, I can't seem to search the right term for the units that drop down from the mounting box with the short extension rods? Our eaves are 16in as opposed to the standard 12in so part of the range tends to get blocked if that makes any sense

TIA

Eta. This is probably a better home/garden post isn't it. I just now noticed that board

Bought these about 6 months ago. $24.99 for 6.

Haven’t had to replace any yet.

I just did the ring lights all around. Just made sense since I already am invested in the ring security and camera system. No complaints.

I got the Halo brand triple light to help spread around corners and with 3 different color temps I could use the middle one to provide best color bright light replacement flood lights.

I just put par 38 bulbs in my old fixtures. 5+ years and only had to replace one because the seal broke or it wasn't sealed to begin with.

How is the color on that light? More blue? I have a few to replace after Laura and 5k is about my threshold where I start to dislike the led lights, but it seems like every light is different no matter what the temperature says it is.

Also did this. Lights no longer work because the bulb housings are flooded with water. They are deep under an overhang so disappointing. The camera still works. I’ve emailed Ring a couple of times with no response.

Ring is really crap, even if you manage to get someone on the phone it will be some guy in India named Tod. I hate installing Ring products for clients, even when they do work it's only a matter of time before there are issues and I get the phone call to fix them. Skybell is a better product but everyone likes the integration options of Ring, which they stop using anyway after the novelty wears off.

I recently bought these 6 of these and I have been happy with them. They are made of metal and I repainted them the same color as my house. Because they are low profile as well now they really aren’t even noticeable.
The potential downside is they are a designed as an unserviceable unit. So if a bulb goes out you are SOOL. But because they are led I hope that’s not any time soon.

These look cool. Where did you buy them? Also, what type do you have 3500K or 5000K?
