Have you been watering? It's been a bit dry over the past few months. Did put down insecticide maybe 3 times this year after seeing black beetles though.

It's the middle of fricking November, it's not supposed to look good.

It's not supposed to look elite, but I had it looking damn good until presumably web worms ate it.

Yeah, I watered enough. It was nice and green.

With it being on the warmer side and all of the recent rain, my lawn is looking more lush and healthy than ever!

Mine looks pretty good considering it was another dry October but I watered as much as I could. Next year is my big project of leveling which I am getting my back prepped for it.

I had armyworms in my bermuda a month or so ago. Put out the insectide with haste. Otherwise with the warm weather, my bermuda has stayed looking decent but not really growing either. It's just now starting to go fully dormant.

On the other hand, I put out some prg seed I had leftover from last year about a month ago. Got sparse germination and I thought it was just old seed so whatever. And then with the rain all of last week where I'm at, my rye is finally starting to germinate. Will see if it does anything.

Backyard looks good with the kbg mix and is decent form for this time of year. Will look good through the spring.

The centipede in my yard did this, also some areas of Bermuda did as well. Areas where it was full and looked healthy. Wouldn’t be surprised if it was fungus.

Anyway I share in your frustration. I have a few areas with really nice stands of grass, including one from the golf course (Bermuda) but it has gotten spots that just suddenly go to shite. I’ve actually noticed it after rain.

The areas with st aug are probably the most frustrating. One day I will notice that it is really coming back, I see green where there was thatch and new grass coming up through bare ground. Yesterday I got to mow it and it’s like it disappeared. Can’t really explain it. I think it really just need to be aerated or I have some bullshite buried that can’t sustain a root system.

Mine looks pretty good for this time of year. I admittedly didn't water like I should have during September and October when we went 7 weeks without rain. But the recent rains perked it back up and I've had to mow 2 weeks in a row. I do know that less daylight and cooler temps won't have it looking as nice as it did in the summer months though.
