All 3 outside AC units not running *update pg 3!

Last night I noticed the house was getting warmer. I went outside and realized all 3 of my units were not running. All 3 of the indoor/blows were on.
I turned the breaker off and back on the units turned on and ran fine.
Twice during the night this happened again.
Any thoughts?
Eta: the breaker is not tripped each time I have checked it. I'm not sure how that's possible

Inside unit, check the float switch on the drip pan. Your drain could be blocked up. That could knock out each inside unit. By resetting the breakers, by that time, water had drain off.

A clog on one unit would cause all 3 to not turn on?

Certainly those three units aren't wired from one breaker. But, it sounds like something in common to all 3 are causing the issue. I assume they all 3 cut off at the same time?

Probably not this, but check the lines going into the outside units and make sure they aren't frozen.

I checked all three drain lines and they are fine.
So I just went out by thr units and switch them on.
I hear a click like they're about to kick on, and then nothing happens

Strange that it's happening to all three. Maybe you're losing a bus in your panel?

I just came outside and switchted the systems off. I heard a click from each unit again.
It makes no sense to me. They are obviously getting power.

My thinking is that all inside units drain to a central drain line.
Could also be the T stat. If it has a battery back up, change the battery.

If this was the case, would I be looking for another float switch somewhere further down the line?

No, each pan will have their own. What kind of T stat you have?

OK, yeah they're all fine no clogs or water.

Two zones have ecobees and another is a vive.

So now even with resetting the breaker the outside units won't kick on, they just click.
It has to be an issue at the panel right? There's no other way the units are linked.

Yes, that sounds strange if all three HVACs are on the same breaker, I believe by code each individual high amp draw appliance Is supposed to be on a separate breaker. If they are all on the same breaker I would think it would have to be breaker, loose wiring connection to the breaker or something other electrical issue in the main panel. Based on your description, I’d call an electrician first before HVAC tech unless you can get a HVAC tech who is a licensed electrician as well - some are.
Anyway, when you get the problem resolved I hope you’ll report back and let us know what the issue was.
ETA: OK i see your photo - single 100 amp breaker for AC. I’d call an electrician. Electrician’s handle electrical issues upline of the outside HVAC disconnect(s).

Could it be that one “phase” of power from the power company is down? That would also affect all three units.

Neighbors units are running fine

I just tried again to turn them on, and they came on. I'm just going to keep them running so the house doesn't get too hot when I leave for work.
Electrician will hopefully be coming out today so I'll update when I find out what's going on

Is this adequate to handle 3 units? We have a 5 ton and 2 2.5 ton units
