Anyone have a good suggestion on hulling purple peas?
Any recommendations on a machine to do it?

Was just fixing to post that one. It works pretty well and will save you some time. It's not perfect and smashes some peas on occasion. But electric shelling machines are far too expensive for hobby garderners.

I'm about to be up to my neck in tomatoes. I've got over 120 on 8 plants.
I really need the peppers to catch up so I can start making and canning some salsa next weekend. I also made my first BLT today and was reminded why I grow tomatoes

How do you guys stake/support your peppers, out of curiosity? I have always just used one of those green coated stakes and big zip ties to keep them orderly and upright. My peppers are taller than they've ever been this year and I've lost a couple of branches due to the weight of the fruits. I may look into a different solution for the next planting. A cage honestly doesn't seem like a bad idea.

I'll trade you peppers for tomatoes. I picked my first tomato this weekend. I also picked about 50+ peppers. I was supposed to have a pretty even balance of jalapenos and bell pepper types but somehow I ended up with nothing but jalapenos. Don't know wtf I'm going to do with all of them. 18 plants...
Reimer strikes again...

Tomato cages work great.

My father thought that was what his kids were for.

I’m out of town the last 4 days so my wife decided she would pick the garden. Potatoes are officially done.

Make some vodka. I’ll buy some from you.

I’m planting them under all my tomatos this week and will pull my tomatos in a few weeks.
