How often you using the H2O2 spray? Peppers are taking a beating with some kind of fungus. New growth looks good, the lower leaves are all but gone
As needed. But during times of high heat and humidity, and frequent rain, I'll do it once a week as a preventative. If disease is already present, every 3 or 4 days until it clears up.

Better than the Fox Farm? I trend to liquid so I can still do foliar application when it’s rainy.
Fox Farm is good stuff. I can't say one is better than the other. I guess it would just depend on your needs. But when my plants started flowering and fruiting, the Sea Grow was like a shot of steroids for them. We'll see if the results remain consistent.

I've been using Texas Tomato Food for the last few years and between that and the existing soil nutrients my plants are typically loaded. I will take a photo later, but I've got one heirloom dwarf tomato plant right now that has a flower cluster that must have 20+ flowers on it.

You can plant potatoes in the heat. From what I understand the reason it's an early season crop is because it can tolerate the cold being that it's planted so deep.
ETA: Regular red potatoes.
Also, sweet potato season is upon us for all you long-growing season folks.

Anyone have experience ordering mulch in bulk from home depot as opposed to purchasing single bags?
I have a lot of flower bed to cover so I think ordering in bulk and just having them drop the load on my driveway would be easier than me going to home depot and loading up my suv bag by bag.
From there I could just shovel a bunch in the wheel barrel and take it where it needs to go.

That's how I do my yard. But not from Home Depot and I pick it up in my truck. I have several bulk mulch/dirt/compost/etc. places near me. I pay 80 bucks for a cubic yard (full F150 short truckbed). Very easy to shovel into wheelbarrow and dump on beds then spread with a rake.

As the saying goes. There’s more than one way to skin a cat.

Nice! That’s a healthy looking plant.

After doing all of the different ways to get mulch - bags, bulk in truck, bill delivered. I will only do this from now on.
Get the dump landscape wagon, they are much easier than the wheel barrow.

A few pics from the garden this afternoon. The lighting with the sun setting made taking decent pictures a little difficult.
These are Cherokee Purples. For some reason they are way ahead of the beefmasters. I’m not complaining.
Beefmasters are just starting to get some coming in.
Romas are starting to load up.
Cayenne and jalapeño plants are very healthy and the peppers are starting to come in already. Here’s one of the cayenne plants.
Marconi peppers are producing already. Nothing on the California Wonders yet. But they’re starting to flower.
Black Beauty eggplant are looking good and starting to flower.
Okra seeds have all sprouted. Clemson Spineless.
Beans and cucumbers. My cucumbers seem to be a little behind this year compared to previous years. But I know they’ll really start to take off soon. I also staggered the seeds, so that’s why half of them are still small. The beans (Blue Lake Stringless) are starting to climb.
Blackberries and strawberries.

No truck, but I'll shop around and see if there is somewhere better to acquire the mulch. Thanks!

That all looks great. I need to take some photos. Will try to do that tomorrow.
All of the pepper plants I started from seed are loading up with peppers. I picked 3 off of one Escamillo to encourage it to grow some more. It had a pepper at the first joint that was almost as tall as the plant.
I got no germination on my jimmy nardello seeds this year. I also killed the plant I was trying to overwinter because I had a bit too many cold beers one night and forgot to bring it in on one of those late unexpected frosts. I got a jimmy nardello seedling and shishito seedling from a friend that were a little stunted for some reason, but I put them in the ground, topped them, and they’re really starting to get their feet underneath them.
I don’t want to speak too soon but it’s also looking like I’ve finally broken my curse with the Brad’s Atomic Grape plant. It is going insane. All of the tomatoes that I started from seed are setting fruit pretty heavily, same as peppers. The peppers and tomatoes I bought from the feed store are lagging a bit but I feel like that’s always the case.
I picked 2 zephyr squash and a zucchini this past weekend. Got a few more on the vines.
My cucumbers are also lagging a bit compared to usual. I think it’s got something to do with the relatively chilly nights we’ve been having. I planted them in my fence box and they are just shooting out their first tendrils. When they get a bit bigger, I’m going to train them along my back fence. I probably won’t do okra this year just because I downsized and we’re hopefully going to be out of the house soonish.

I think you’re on to something there. It’s been warming up pretty good during the day. But yeah, we’ve still been having some cooler nights. I guess I shouldn’t rush the warmer weather.

My tomatoes are looking great but my peppers and beans seem to be very slow starting. I bought all of my peppers and tomatoes this go around. I topped all of the peppers 3 weeks ago and they are just now starting to spread. Healthy green just still pretty small. My yellow squash seem to have a timing issue with their flowering right now. I either have a bunch of male blooms with few to no female or vise versa. In better news, I picked my first zucchini yesterday.

Leaves on my banana peppers are starting to turn yellow like this. Are these because of aphids?

Those strawberries look great. When did you plant them?
