2016 F150 Platinum - Water leak inside cab (Sunroof)

This looks to be some kind of Ford defect because I have seen alot of problems on the Ford forums.
Water is dripping from both the driver and passenger handles. Pretty sure it has to be the sunroof.
Anybody had any issues with this also?

very common. Clean the drains.
Had same issue in 13 and 16, so I ordered new one without it.

Pulled this from a company site that deals with this specifically. Here's what they're talking about. Your sunroof might look different, but the design is very much the same
All sunroofs have drains that usually run from your sunroof, above your door frame, and down across your dashboard and out underneath your vehicle. These will get clogged overtime. They exist because places like the sunroof/windows will open/close, and water will eventually come in since they are not perfectly sealed. When water does come in, they exit through those drains.
Over time, drains will clog with dirt/debris that comes with the water going through those drains. Best way to take care of it would be to get an air compressor, create a tight seal around your drain entrance, and shoot air through it a few times. I would recommend using really hot water, pour it down and shoot some air through it as it's draining. That water should help break up whatever is clogging your drain. It might take a few pours. Best way to find out if you finished it is if you see water come out through the bottom of your car and that whatever water you've been pouring through up top in the sunroof is NOT sitting and is actively draining.
I used one of these from Harbor Freight:

Mine always leaked through the open/close button

carful using compressed air. The hoses leading down the frame can pop out of their fittings if its a bad clog and then you're in some shite.

Cut angle on weed eater string and fish it down the drain tubes of the sunroof there are 4 total.
Open sunroof and pour some water in the channel and see if drain out under the truck

Before you blow compressed air through, pull the handles/trim covers off and check to make sure the drain tubes are actually connected. The common problem with this f150 model is the drain tubes will shrink and disconnect from the fitting at the top of the pillar when it gets cold. I had the same problem and same leak in mine. All I had to do was reconnect the rubber tubing.

I have this recurring issue in my car.
Even though it's a pain in the arse, I've found the safest way to clean them is to take off the parts you need to get to the bottom of the hoses. Hose is always just clogged with sediment that hardens when it dires right at the bottom anyway.
Not sure how easy that is for the F-150.

Very common issue. It is actually the reason I switched from a Ford guy to a GMC Denali guy. Not only was my sunroof leaking, but some plastic parts in the motor broke and Tops Unlimited wanted $2500 to fix it.
Nah...traded it in on the GMC instead.

The weed eater string worked for my
old Toyota Camry. Ran it out both side and then poured a little water in the reservoir to make sure it was clear.
Exit should be right around the front wheel wells
