Why am I suddenly seeing "Image Link" in some posts but not in others?

Using the mobile version, I'm suddenly seeing "Image Link" in some threads when a user has posted a picture but in other threads I can see the image.
See screen shots here:
In this thread all I see is the words "Image Link". It's in normal text, not in blue or underlined text like most hyper-links are. If I click the words it takes me to the image. (this is just 1 example. It's happened in several different threads and on different boards.)
But in this thread, the picture posts fine in the user's post.

I'm seeing that as well. I just tried to post a sig pic for someone & it posted as "Image Link" with no pic, but the pic showed up when I previewed it before posting - just not in the post. ... Are you using photobucket? Not sure if that would be the issue, though. I'll try imgur.
Eta - tried it with both pbucket & imgur & neither will post the pic, only the "Image Link" text.

It's not anything I'm posting. It's just other posts that I'm viewing.

Yes, they're both showing. ... That's strange because sig pics that are already in use are showing, but I'm seeing that "Image Link" deal in others' posts in the Arkansas Board P'shop thread where there were pics in the bodies of posts made weeks ago, but now just the text. And like I said, all avatars & sign pics that are in place are still showing. ... I wondered if it could be associated with mobile devices, but you're on your phone, so I guess that's not it. I'll try a couple of my other devices to test. That's just really odd.

Two pics in the OP are showing. When it happened to me early yesterday morning, I went to the full version and the image links became hyperlinks. Pics have been working for me other than around that time, which was around 4 AM.

This is happening to me too, in both desktop and mobile versions. One thread in particular, I know there were pictures there before, but now there are only links that say "Image Link." Clicking on one will take me to the picture unless the poster wrote "width=XYZ" after.

They are working on getting the Twitter embed tweets working so they had to take a few hamsters offline from the normal [img][ /img]

I just had the Image Link show up for me in pictures I posted. LINK
I also could see the pictures in preview, then had the link in the actual post.

I'm seeing this as well. Does it have to do with where the source is from? I can't imagine the formatting being the issue if some work correctly.

I also saw this yesterday on the OT, but it was an old thread. I was looking for a yeye gif and went to the jaysee publicity hub, but all of the images said image link. :(
