So, since petty people won't like it, he should be afraid to do the right thing?

How do you not understand about the petty people being the ones that pay Chicken as the advertisers? The book example is a real example of what has happened before in the United States, but I'll give you another example that maybe translates better to you. This is like you were making your money from youtube on your social media as a right winger. Then Youtube says you aren't politically correct and you lose your ad revenue and have to switch to patreon. And then patreon says that they aren't supporting your views so won't service you and now you don't know how you are going to make money. That's why I said I'm interested in what route Chicken is going, as he may not be doing anything at all that would challenge the status quo and these worries would be for naught.

Chicken should do what he wants. But he should be prepared for potential ramifications of what he chooses. He has a golden goose right now with tiger droppings. I wish Chicken the best of luck in his endeavour.

But yes, everyone should live their life like Rudyard Kipling's If.

If you can keep your head when all about you
Are losing theirs and blaming it on you,
If you can trust yourself when all men doubt you,
But make allowance for their doubting too;
If you can wait and not be tired by waiting,
Or being lied about, don't deal in lies,
Or being hated, don't give way to hating,
And yet don't look too good, nor talk too wise:

If you can dream - and not make dreams your master;
If you can think - and not make thoughts your aim;
If you can meet with Triumph and Disaster
And treat those two impostors just the same;
If you can bear to hear the truth you've spoken
Twisted by knaves to make a trap for fools,
Or watch the things you gave your life to, broken,
And stoop and build 'em up with worn-out tools:

If you can make one heap of all your winnings
And risk it on one turn of pitch-and-toss,
And lose, and start again at your beginnings
And never breathe a word about your loss[es];
If you can force your heart and nerve and sinew
To serve your [or our] turn long after they are gone,
And so hold on [to it] when there is nothing in you
Except the Will which says to them: 'Hold on!'

If you can talk with crowds and keep your virtue,
' Or walk with Kings - nor lose the common touch,
if neither foes nor loving friends can hurt you,
If all men count [on you,] with you, but none too much;
If you can fill the unforgiving minute
With sixty seconds' worth of distance run,
Yours is the Earth and everything that's in it,
And - which is more - you'll be a Man, my son!

every ad you see with the little blue or Grey looking horn in the corner is a Google ad, placed through Google itself or placed by 3rd party sellers of retargeting

The regular ads look to mostly be members that are happy to participate (I don't know that for sure and I don't see the LA ads, so speculating)

This site has incredible traffic and a mostly conservative audience

I doubt they lose anything insofar as ad revenues are concerned

Chicken, one area to maybe consider is a sports betting section. The media market for sports betting is growing and probably has done so more this year than it has ever.

Now Bleacher Report has its on bets section. Barstool added its gambling section. Wagertalk has increased its visibility.

Check out @KellyinVegas on twitter. She now does Bleacher Report, WagerTalk and even has a podcast with the guy who runs the book at Westgate in Las Vegas. If Louisiana every legalizes sports gambling it will be in even more demand.

every day in life we all take gambles

this only proves your stupidity and ignorance on the subject of wagering as a whole in the sports betting world.

Casino games? sure. only play those for fun. house always has a built in advantage.

there is no such advantage in sports betting. either side is their for the taking. sure the house will charge juice but that is not an issue. I won all last year in NHL, this year in MLB and now back to NHL yet again not to mention college football. You have no clue as to what the frick you are babbling about as usual like your dumbass post on the money board that was deleted. i will bet yoiu are a dumbass when it also comes to investing? business? coaching? what about other activities?

i am truly sorry you are a loser at all things in life per your idiotic generalized statements.
