I think I found a solution to the 19th post issue, at least in part
Make it more valuable to get to the bottom of the page, at least slightly.

Best way to solve it is to have the last post on a page also appear at the top of the next page... Or have an inline update system that lets you load the next page by scrolling down. Example: LINK
