Ok let me play devil's advocate for a second:
Let's say a poster sucks. Really terrible. Not funny, bad jokes, etc. However the poster follows all board rules and does not excessively hardleg/curse/whatever. That poster is in danger of being perma-banned because other posters think they suck based on a "committee?"
Seems a little unfair to some posters around here IMO, one big ugly popularity contest that will severely limit the attractiveness of the board to others.
A solid discourse on any board dealing with sports, politics, etc. should include a number of posters who disagree with one another. This is normal and should be the sole purpose of a message board....for example I can't stand Rex and he drives me nuts but I don't think he should be banned simply because he's a shitty poster IMO and one whom I disagree with on almost every post he makes.

flaming is against board rules, i think he breaks that; bumping posts isn't against current board rules, but you can be banned for that, so.....good luck with that request

hey frick face our mission isn't to just cut out crappy posters, I'd wipe out most of the rant if that were the only goal. There will be a specific criteria.
