I'm sure it's been discussed already, but my #1 rule for the music board would be:

1a: No "daily"/IM threads.

1b: All links must be properly titled.

that's the best rules so far.

how about ne popularity awards?

I mean do we really need to give out awards on every board, and no more than two stickies at any given time, not counting a locked riles stick in the begining.

you have my permission to let my thread cut the ribbon

I think it would be a good idea to keep a monthly sticky for live shows happening in NOLA, BR, and LAF. Each Seperate Thread. Updated at the beginning of the month. If three is too much, only do it for NOLA

I dont think a sticky is needed for that

You can have scheduled threads -- i.e. a weekly Concerts in the Gulf South thread -- w/o them being stickied

I think people will make them over and over again. You sticky one, thats the only one. Whack the rest.

As many itchy-trigger-finger mods have shown, you dont need to sticky a thread to whack others on the same subject

I agree. I just think it would be nice to know I can automatically go straight to the top of the music board to be able to check out upcoming shows in the area. Really a pain in the arse to search 4 sites to get a comprehensive list

I think there should be a special sections for Rap and Modern Country so that they aren't mixed in with the music threads.
