Music board?

I know this has been discuessed to death but what is the reason for no music board? Maybe even incorporate music with the M/TV board?
And since there is no music board...if I have a music/band related topic what is the best place to bring it up? OT or M/TV?

once upon a time, i campaigned for one. i don't really want one any more. the ot is a good place to talk about music, and the movie/tv board is as well, although, i'm sure it's not encouraged by the admins.

Didn't think about that. I would hope people would use the board for music discussion and not try to download files...but this is the Internet after all. Still I've seen people post links to whole albums on the OT etc. I know creating a board isn't easy and like I said this has been brought up before

I think it's one of those boards that sounds great on the surface, but winds up being, meh, after a month or two.

I don't have access to the stats, but I would think that it certainly has to be the mouton of the Boards.

We are already at board capacity. In order for us to have another, we'd have to change the name of another board.

I still say that we could just condense it all into "Outdoor" and "Shut-in" boards.

There isn't rampant file sharing in the music threads as is, and there are a lot of them.
maybe give it a probationary period and promote someone to admin also on probationary period.
