I want to apologize for my name choice

A friend who posts here told me to use Mister Sports because I am an avid sports aficionado butit implies that I am some type of sports expert. From my 7-8 college pick 'em, I obviously am not an expert on American college sports (though I am trying to learn).
I was not trying to be arrogant with my name choice.

I am not an alter, if I was, I would not have posted on the help board. I am not experienced here, but I am also not stupid as I know this is a section where the administrators and executives participate.
It seemed to be the proper place to assert my embarrassment at being talked into a somewhat incorrect and misleading name.
I learn a lot from this site, every day, and I hope to continue being one of the more polite and trouble free posters here.
