Cubs threads on the MSB, why the anchor?

I mean, I guess so. We use it to talk about the lineups, the game on that day, minor league players...it's always on topic.
Should we just make a thread every day?
I'm not much of a thread starter, honestly, so if I don't know proper etiquette I can be enlightened.

Banana, I like you as a poster, but CHC, DAT, ATL, and STL daily game threads are getting to be a little much. I think one daily baseball thread is the answer, at least until mid-June.

At the same time, I know how our Cubs threads flow and we talk a lot about the team. I can only assume Astros fans, Braves fans, Reds fans, etc. do the same. It would be difficult to have meaningful conversation with the people I want to if we have a day long baseball thread.
The CHC threads usually bring the Cubs fans into one thread and keep the board relatively organized. We usually get along with other posters from other team affiliations and welcome anyone in.
I guess what I'm saying is nobody wants to shuffle through seven pages of Kris Bryant sploosh to find the two posts about an Astros prospect.

ETA: If it's because it's a daily thread and they are supposed to get anchored the next day or something, then I get it. But do we keep creating daily threads? I just want to talk Cubs on the MSB...whatever the rules are, I'll follow them.

As a cubs fan, I think these threads should not get the anchor until the cubs season is no longer relevant.
Maybe even to the end of may. Perhaps early june

we're not all cubs fans on the MSB. Why do you have to have a daily thread? Cant you just do a season long? The sploosh talk is annoying too.

They are labeled Cubs threads. If you don't want to talk about Cubs stuff, then don't click on the thread. If you do want to talk Cubs stuff, come in and make yourself at home. But I understand if you'd rather talk about Bruce Jenner's manginer instead.

I honestly don't know what the big deal is, god forbid somebody starts a sports thread on the more sports board(regardless of subject).
