I just got thru listening to a podcast where Colin Cowherd encourages folks to give up message boards...He says that people who get involved with message boards don't have a life, (as if I had one before)...What to do, I need some unbiased guidance?

I like Cowherd. I think he's wrong here, though. Who cares what someone does in their free time? You can visit message boards and still (obviously) have a life.
Also, you have to remember, Cowherd's goal is to get ratings. If it means insulting people to get them to listen/call in (even if he may not truly believe it), he will say it. He's even admitted on his show before, it's all about entertainment and ratings, and his goal is to provide the first and get the second. He usually doesn't care what he says, as long as people will listen. So don't worry about what he says, he's just a radio host trying to provide entertainment/controversy, and get ratings.

it wasn't based on intelligence. It was based on overriding characteristics.
Washington = the founding father. a figurehead.
Franklin = witty old womanizer
Jefferson = snarky bad boy of the old days
Hamilton = hothead that challenged people to duels
Madison = someone that we consider a founding father, but aren't sure why.
