Could have raised money for the site, new servers, another admin, and an assistant for Dhillip.

After reading through some of that thread it sure looks like it. Hardleggers/wetleggers IRLing, etc. I thought Chicken was against that sort of crap.

Wait a minute now. You're a rule stickler here with name changes but not wetlegging/hardlegging and IRL/IMing? I think you're getting soft Mr. Wafer. Perhaps, a name change is in order.
I nominate MelbaToast.

I haven't even been here that long, and I know that they apply rules differently depending on the poster.

It depends. They come out at incredible speeds and are designed for specific impacts above certain speeds. If you bump someone doing 10mph and the airbag blows out it would be bad news. They will break noses, wrists and arms even when deployed correctly.
Do you have side and/or curtain airbags? If not and you are rolling they my not as the sensors are located on the nose of the car. I don't think they'd do much good coming out of the dash if you're rolling (assuming you weren't going end over end). If you do have curtain airbags then maybe so, depending on your car and it's safety features. I don't know a whole lot about their specifics tho.
I'm assuming you're OK if you're here posting, right?

If you were paralyzed as a result of the crash or had a significant and permanent brain injury or other disability, you could have a decent case against the car manufacturer. However, I would suggest not running around acknowledging that you over corrected. Such an admission doesn't help a stability and handling defect claim. You still potentially have roof crush, seat-belt, airbag and other crashworthiness defect claims.
FWIW- The claims remain the same regardless of the severity of your injuries, but the amount of recovery changes. These cases are expensive to bring, so most attorneys aren't going after the manufacturer unless the damages are large enough to justify the risk.
Also, assuming it was a single car incident, your going to be at fault for the accident and depending on the law in your jurisdiction, may have a difficult/impossible case based on contributory negligence.
As far as your insurance, or anyone's goes, whether or not the air bags deployed seems irrelevant.

Thanks for the info!! Yes, Im ok, pretty banged up, bumps, bruises, cuts all over, fractured bones in my back but thats about it... Did xrays and cat scan and going to see an ortho next week. I do have side/curtain airbags and the ones in the front also. I was just curious because the entire car was crushed and it seemed odd to me. My hubby says the point of impact was on the passenge side if that helps at all.

Thanks for the info also! It was just me involved in the accident and everything is settled as far as the car goes. I was absolutely at fault and acknowledged that right away. I signed papework today actually... Also, I have excellent medical insurance that is taking care of my injuries. Im not tryng to sue anyone or anything like that, I was just really curious seeing that my car was so smashed and an airbag didnt come out anywheres.
