Are threads about whether the OT is dead trashy?

Seriously, this board has gotten stale. We see the same few threads over and over and over again. Every week its:
Is _______ trashy?
Millennials suck!
Baby boomers suck!
We're all gonna die because of weather!
Did you hear that noise in (insert BR or NOLA nieghborhood)
Houston vs BR vs NOLA thread
California SUXXX!
Look at these crazy snowflake SJWs!!!
Look at how offended these old white people are!

What would you propose to help increase the variety of threads and content on this board?
Do you think segmenting of TD has caused a significant downturn in the quality of the OT (I think the creation of the SECOT absolutely contributed)?
Other than more WOWYHI and Babe threads, what content that we already have would you like to see more of?
What content would you like to see less of on the OT?
Are their any boards that you would like to see merged back into the OT in order to increase traffic?
