New research shows that you can catch up on sleep contrary to the long held belief that you cannot catch up/
Not only that, the research is showing that you can reduce the chance for heart related issues by 20%

I've never understood the claim that you cannot catch up on sleep. It implies that there's a definitive set number of hours your body gets per lifetime, and every night of poor sleep pulls you away from that potential amount.

Yeah and if you wear a whoop it stresses sleep with credit for naps and sleeping longer than usual.
Anecdotally, I’ve noticed a difference when I lack sleep but catch up the next night or take a nap

or take a nap
Naps are so underrated. I feel so refreshed after a 30 minute to an hour nap.

Impossible, the science is settled.

I can't nap. If I do, I won't fall asleep at night. Really stinks.

I’ve always felt like shite after a nap

Hell yeah! I try to take a little nap when I work from home, makes me feel much better. Always felt you could catch up on sleep!

Anyone that’s ever pulled an all nighter and then slept 16 hours straight already knew this.
