are they having you upload pictures or something for body fat estimates? I just briefly read through some of the changes. I may re up but the whole mymacros thing put me off, kind of a pain to enter it on two fronts.

No, they have some new body fat estimation tool with a visual guide.. most people are not liking it. Mark said it'd be really easy to implement the old tape measure guide back in.

When they did the Avatar Insider competition I decided to post my personalized link one time to my Facebook wall. I didn't think I would win jack. I ended up getting Avatar for a year free. I was floored this morning when I got the email.

That's awesome. One of my old college friends works for avatar apparently. He messaged me asking if I like Avatar and how excited they were for the new release.

Anyone have recommendations on scales with the BF calculator? I had the fitbit one, but I left it with my dad when I moved out. I've just been guessing what my BF is and leaving it the same each weigh in so that's probably not ideal.

I have one and it seems the BF calculator is way off. I went to the doctor and it was off my about 1% then I got a body fat scanner deal off Amazon that seems to be way closer. I may would look at one of those.

Yeah my fitbit scale was about 4% different than my dexa scan results.
I just need it so I can track progress.

just pick a method and track. Only ones that are worth their salt are dexa and bodpod. its about consistency though.
