Heard some blood panel company on Rogan yesterday. I need my annual work done. What are the standards?

Are you asking for what the standard in-range results should be or what is included on a BMP?

For in-range results..

BMI in range = 18.5 - 25
BP: 120/80
LDL < 100
HDL > 40 mg/dl
Glucose < 100 mg/dl
A1c < 5.7%
Triglyceride < 150 mg/dl
Cholesterol < 200 mg/dl

Go to your PCP. They'll know what's appropriate for you since they know your health history and risk factors.

Many insurance providers cover a biometric screening as well that don't require a physicians order and can normally be coordinated through a portal (something like Optum Engage for example if you have UHC).

You'll get your results and if you see anything out of range you can follow-up with your PCP afterwards.

As someone else mentioned, it would be helpful to know what you mean by standards: reference range or panels?

I got bloodwork done from vitality blueprint and was happy with the process. I like how comprehensive it was and they provide an optimization protocol after they get access to your panels. I can provide more details if that’s something you are interested in.

I did. It gave me this:

quote:

annual physical blood panel including CBC with differential, CMP, fasting lipid panel, HbA1c, TSH, PSA, urinalysis, full iron studies (ferritin, iron, TIBC/transferrin, transferrin saturation), CRP, B12, folate, vitamin D, and a morning testosterone panel with total testosterone, free testosterone, SHBG, LH, FSH, estradiol and prolactin

Iron is specifically because I always test low when donating blood. Sorry for the initial confusion.

You can run the results through it too and it'll analyze the results and make supplement recs. Just make sure you give it a good prompt saying that you want to be at optimal levels and not just the reference range. Do that and it'll be better than most PCPs

Standard Blood Work

thats more than standard but pretty much the minimum you should test

this is what you should do if its covered by insurance
LINK

dont have to buy that, just print out what all they test and tell your doctor thats what you want. dont request, tell him this is the test we are running, period.

for the record your doctor will prolly push back and say you dont need all that. frick em, its your health not his.

now if thats not covered by insurance, thats different

yep...I run the executive panel i linked and then run through 2 health dashboards I have built. 1 on chatgpt and then one on gemeni.

I also have a spreadsheet I built that tracks everything too over time. but I imported the data from the spreadsheet that list everything from last couple years and so really only use AI

the gemini dashboard, i input daily bodyweight, all meals, daily step count and workouts in there along with total hours slept each day so its the most comprehensive for me. I use it to track all trends and create graphs of trendlines etc.

i will say one thing I love about Baylor Medical is the app they use has all the test results from everything stored and it tracks trends etc

my doctor friends make fun of me and say I essentially engineered up my health markers but they admit it prolly is the right thing to do for long term health.

What you get back will list a range and where you fall in that range. Are you looking for standards to hit? Do not overthink it and just got get it done, if something is out of range, fix it.

Mine abnormal results were
Test - 1183
Free Test - 32.8
Estradiol - 74.5

Everything else was in range (it is a long list they check in blood). Yes they want me to lower the trt dosage, which I bumped down 10. Have followup blood work soon to make sure those 3 values come down.

Assuming you’re meaning Ways 2 Well. Great company, great process. You’ll get good attention based on your results and not some cookie cutter AI or doctor that doesn’t really care.

Of course you can get it done cheaper elsewhere but I would rather have someone take the time to explain results and what really matters etc.
