Nutter butter is best protein flavor I have ever had. Shits amazing

I bought some from Amazon after seeing this thread and it arrived today. This is the first protein powder that my wife actually thinks tastes good. She has had at least a mild dislike for everything else, including True Nutrition chocolate fudge brownie and the Fruity Pebbles protein (both of which I love, and CFB is my go-to).

I just mixed with unsweetened almond milk... A little more than I would for myself, since she complains most protein powder is far too sweet. Her eyebrows shot up, and she said, "Hmmm, that's actually good." It's a little pricey, but worth it since she'll actually drink it.

All flavors are solid but this one mixes great in a fruit smoothie. The vanilla mixes well in oatmeal.

Optimum Nutrition is still my choice. That Ghost stuff has my attention now though.

I'm the same way WPT so last night I bought the 5lb tub of ON Vanilla and the smaller Ghost Nutter Butter. Nice to have some variety.

So, most protein powders are not high quality. All this means is you’re not really getting what you think you’re getting.

So, the things to look for are:

BCAA SHOULD BE 25% per serving
Valine
Leucine
Isolucine

Leucine should be 10% per serving

You will find that many companies don’t list the detail. If they don’t, that’s a huge red flag. If you can find a protein powder that has the above, you can bet it’s a high quality.

I use a brand called Levels. It meets the criteria above.

If you don’t care, which some people say “they don’t care”, that’s cool. But, I do care because lifting is a very large hobby for me. I spend a lot of time with it, and I want to know that I am putting in good quality protein to help with that process.

Cheers

Ugh, tried the ghost, I don’t know what it is but I found it to be way sweeter than it claims. It doesn’t “feel health” if that’s an explanation. I’ll use what I have but I’m a little turned off by the ingredients paragraph.

That shite gave me a headache. I’m probably more susceptible to whatever is in it. I have isopure right now and it’s been good.

I doubt that I’m going to even try it again and just give it to someone. I feel like I just ate terrible fast food.

I’ve recently started taking GNC Wheybolic Ripped
Before that I was taking Wheybolc Alpha
I find that they’re both good products but the prices have gotten ridiculous. They always have the buy 1 get 1 half off when I go but I never plan on spending the at much when I’m shopping. I may need to buy the extra next time I go which should be within the next 2 weeks
