I go to a CrossFit gym, so primarily notice my emotional, mental, and physical anguish.

I don’t GAF what other people are doing normally but I do wonder about the guys who are on their phones talking the whole workout.

Who the f are they talking to? I’ve even taken out my pods to see if they are signing and nope. They are having conversations while they work out.

The deadlifter's have bent all of my gym's bars. They are arched.

Add this one... guys walking in wearing weight lifting belts. And wear them for every exercise.

The guys that do leg press and think it’s an indication of strength.

Always got enjoyment out of guys that put weight of a Volvo on the leg press, RoM was less than the radius of plates they were putting on, yet never saw them squatting in a squat rack

The one I like at my gym is older guys doing hilarious range on reps.

I wear a hat at the gym. Seems to warm me up faster with the heat staying.

Those type of guys would get stuck in the hole with 135 on raw squat.

The douche who goes around correcting everybody's form.

The ex NFL player who's too good to acknowledge anybody else.

The guys who sit around socializing and never actually doing anything.

The man who "coaches" his wife and doesn't know wtf he's doing.

The teenagers in imminent danger of hurting themselves.

The 1/4 squatter.

The employee who's nowhere to be found when you need something.

I work out at home now.

I just get random licks or balls rolling at me from my GSP. Or my kids asking me what I’m doing and how much weight everything is. Plus I have to be mindful of the music playing due to kids and old neighbors. Only thing I miss about a conventional gym is leg machines for accessory work.

Legs today.

It's active recovery at the CF gym today so I'm about to beat the shite out of my legs like a red-headed stepchild at my other gym.

Back Squats
Front Squats
Leg Press
Hack Squats
OHS Squats
Snatch Balance/Drop Snatch

I used to do all that. Now I just do 4 or 5 sets of back squats at heavy enough weight to be an effort. 20 minutes and I'm done.

If I could find a decent priced leg extension machine I would buy it.

Nothing. COVID has essentially assured I get the place to myself when I go for the past month. It’s glorious.

But in the past.

Tribal tats.
