What are good ways to massage out cramps
I'm talking about muscle tightness that comes the day after a full day of exercise

Invest in a foam roller

Foam rollers are great. I use one almost daily. Mainly on my back, but occasionally the hips and legs too.

Guess you’re talking about DOMs since it’s the day after exercise...can’t massage out microtears in muscle tissue.

foam rolling and lacrosse ball helps. Hurts like a mofo when your legs are sore, but it helps. Better to do it right after the exercise.

I've had some tendonitis issues due to really knotty calves so I go see a chiropractor who specializes in sports therapy. After my half marathon this weekend, my calves were a bit sore. Some acupuncture, massage, Graston scraping, suction cupping, and time in Normatec Recovery Boots and I'm feeling 100% better. With insurance it's 15 bucks for me and I go every 2 weeks or any time my legs just get too sore and knotted up.

Recovery boots and dry needling definitely help

If you keep it up, the recovery time shortens and shortens. Befpre that...stretches and foam rollers.

Do not take IB profin or other pain pills/relaxers. You know why the discomfort is there, you earned it...let it repair naturally.

Foam rollers rock, there are also handheld types for other body parts.

I also have compression pants, they do make a difference as well.

Tennis balls work great as well. I keep one in my gym bag. I get knots in my back occasionally and I work them out with a tennis ball after I'm good and warmed up.

Swearing usually helps
