re: 25th Wedding Anniversary Trip

Visit Dubai. You could shop (which most people primarily come here for), eat (a relatively better quality of meat in terms of hygeine), throw money on lavish outings - like the 5 stars or really expensive stuff thats sold in the city, sight see as a genuine tourist, and probably pick hookers (against the law though). You could try finding easy company too. All of the above except for hookers is mentioned below - its not right to do something illegal I suppose - that was just an idea. Burj Khalifa (the worlds tallest tower) at the top gives you an amazing view - book tickets at least a couple days in advance, it's mostly booked throughout the year. I suggest you be there half n hr before sunrise because you'd get to experience the night view with the beautiful street lights. You'd then see all of them go off and get the view of sunrise. Experiencing that moment from the top, see it change entirely is just fantastic. Nothing great about burj khalifa in itself as such but the moment I just described. I`ve also found this website https://www.wowgifts.ae/ full of different crazy ideas how to spend time in UAE so I believe you won`t forget this trip ever.
The idea is cool but you need to be patient.

You basically hire 3 back-office techies and no front sales. You will have a beautiful eCommerce but with no sales ;)

You should have a team of 4: 1 tech/dev (offshoring when it’s needed), 1 merchandiser (the ones who will make sure your Product Pages have the right content for SEO), 1 Ads/Search manager who will go after affiliates and manage keywords, and 1 Conversion/UX manager who will run A/B testing up to the point you’ll reach at least 5% of eCommerce conversion rate.

For the day-2-day, go for Trello or any kanban tasks tool. GitHub is cool if you plan to code a lot of custom exotic services. It should’nt happen, focus first on configuration and content.
And dont forget about a reliable webhosting. I think it's good to start from the decent and low cost hosting service like https://zomro.net/.
Their plans have many useful resources which are necessary for running a website successfully.
Prices are affordable and uptime is high. Cheers

re: Invesment options

Posted by brexit on 7/25/18 at 5:52 am to
You can start only a SMALL business with a SMALL investment.

You have two options:

- Trade in your local market ( means buy anything at a wholesale price & sell with a nice profit margin)
- Start a drop shipping business online.
in both cases you have work REALLY HARD. Small investment means your focus must be on profit margins by keeping expenses at minimum.

You have to:

Be your own boss
You may have to do the work of 5 or 10 people because you are the only person in your company
You are the manager, accountant, sales person, phone operator, driver and the list goes on….
Keep yourself motivated. (remember, motivation comes not from books, motivation comes by motivating others)
Avoid distractions and be FOCUSED.
- find reliabe suppliers! I spent two years on it. (I have an online store of wedding dresses of high quality and should say that it`s very profitable. I have suppliers from Europe, for instance WellesMir ( https://wellesmir.com/en/). They are the manufacturer of the wedding dresses, and have their own line of products.
If you manage to achieve all above, welcome to the world of ENTREPRENEUR

Why dont you spend the most exciting honeymoon in Russia?:) My firends have just come back from travelling by trans-siberian express train (just have a look at this https://rusrailtravel.ru/trans-siberian) starting from Moscow, passing through Nizhniy Novgorod on the way to Perm and Ekaterinburg in the Ural mountains and then into Siberia, Irkutsk, Baikal lake, Ulaan ude. Many men many minds, but my friends are really crazy. They told me it was smth incredible

This is a little difficult, but the general principle that occurs to me is, try something you're really going to be surprised by. Something that's still going to stick out in your memories even after a lifetime of nice islands, ski trips, city breaks, and community service projects (may you both have as much fun as all that!).

For example, we'd never go to the arctic wilderness on business or really for any other reason at all, so fulfilling a dream to see the Icehotel was worth it. A close friend pulled an amazing stunt after getting everyone all packed and ready to believe they were jetting off and later found they were shacked up at a stunning beach chalet pretty much across the street from where they drove off :)

Personally? I wish we'd taken more time off from the folks and made it to the Maldives. Still hasn't happened... so don't forget to stash away ideas for anniversaries to come, too!

re: Car seats for kids

Posted by brexit on 3/10/18 at 7:31 am to
I know for sure that I wont get old car seats for my kids. There are several reasons why CR don't recommend consumers buy used car seats, and responsible parents should be aware of them: As a buyer, you usually can't be 100 percent sure of a secondhand car seat's history, including whether it has been involved in a crash, its expiration date as set by the manufacturer, and its recall status.

It's most crucial to know whether a secondhand car seat has ever been involved in a crash. Even if the seat looks undamaged, crash forces could have stressed the components in ways that aren't visible, thereby reducing its ability to protect a child in the future. Please read more info and only then make the calls
