Can’t go wrong with grilled chicken, which is what I normally do.
This week:
Protein: 5-6 lbs of grilled chicken with a dry rub
Carb: 5lbs of mashed potatoes
Greens: steamed green beans
I’ll portion 6-8 oz of chicken, 4-6 ozs of green beans and 4-6 oz of mashed potatoes for lunch throughout the week.
I have other proteins available (pulled pork & blackened salmon) for dinner if I’m getting bored with the chicken.

I make little meatloafs with ground bison. Season them all up, weigh them out to 8 oz, bake in the oven. I cook turkey sausage, boneless, skinless chicken thighs, asparagus and sweet potatos. Next week, I might make a pork tenderloin.

I’ll take about 3 pounds of chicken and put it in a crockpot with a can of Rotel for about 4 hours. Once that’s done, I shred it and put it in a container with some rice, and broccoli. Pretty cheap and easy

Almost as important as actually prepping the meals is inputting the entire weeks worth of food into Carb Manager or MFP before the start of the week. This takes all the guesswork out and holds you accountable.
