You would be taking daily to start, every other day later.

I just got on the train as well 4 weeks ago. I’m 33 and my levels were at 400 with a free test of 11.

Prescribed 80mg of test cyp 2x week
50mg of HCG 2x week
Anastrozole (estrogen blocker) 2x week.

Got full blood panels + thyroid done first go round and will follow up at 3 months. So far this has been night and day difference in motivation, energy, mood. I’m loving it.

Only thing for me is I’m having to really watch what I eat, I’m currently up to 194# from 190 at 5’11. I’d like to be sitting at 185. Cals are about 2300 a day but this is probably the best shape I’ve ever been in performance wise.

I took intramuscular for years and have recently switched to sub q taking it in the stomach. no pain, dont een feel it. its nice. might wanna think about that. I use a 27gauge 1/2" long needle for that.

Exactly the same length and gauge I've been using 2x/week for the past year or so after years of intramuscular (glutes) with a 1.5", 22g and I vastly prefer Sub-Q, wish I had read about it earlier.

Benefits of Sub-Q vs IM injections

well i had tried once before and remember it burning or having a lump or something. But i have since switched over 100% and love it. I had gotten to where i would dread shots and would skip, not anymore. I would do sub q mutiple times a day over an every other week IM shot.

unless i start having problems, i am never going back to IM. Subq gives better results, way less side effects and it is essentially pain free.

Little update, my estrogen blocker prescription says take one pill/ once a week. Of course everything is a learning curve but I decided to follow the prescription directions. So far today it’s not been going good. Never felt this tired and fatigued. I’m pretty in sync with my body and it has to be the pill that is causing this.

Maybe next week I will split the dose up between the first and second half of the week.

I was doing TRT cream. It worked but applying twice a day is annoying. But I’ve started doing pellets which is nice. If it wasn’t free, I’d go to the shot.

Never had any Estrogen issues with either.

Did you put it on your nads? Only reason I ask is because more platesmoredates had a study that showed it worked much better

Yes I did. I questioned my co-worker about placement. But after I went to a TRT course and listened to a few MDs talk, the scrotum is ideal for absorption.

Joe Rogan sums it up pretty well:

Anyone know of a good doctor(s) in the New Orleans to River Parish area? I had my levels checked a few years back but the tests weren’t comprehensive.

EDIT:

Dr. Carlos A. Suescun Jr, MD
11000 N Scottsdale Rd. (Scottsdale Rd. & Shea)
Scottsdale, AZ 85254
(480) 607-3800

I do, not sure if appropriate to post that info here- is there a private messaging function on the board? I initially went to a "wellness physician" who put me on TRT and now self-administer with twice-weekly subcutaneous testosterone cypionate injections in the belly. I call on cardiologists so easy to have a complete blood count test quarterly and I make sure to monitor hematocrit (measures the proportion of red blood cells in your body) and PSA (prostate-specific antigen) levels. If done under a Dr's care with regular blood tests TRT is very safe. I researched the hell out of TRT and it took me three years to finally pull the trigger and I'm very grateful I did.

I’ll say this- I was in it for 8 months to a year and my doctor increased my dose to the point where my test went from 235 to 1300 and I was drained at 7:30. I told him what was going on and he moved me back down. I started receding after a full head of hair all my life. My estrogen was out of line. Bottom line - he increased it too much. Before he increased it I was at 550 test. This was 100mg per week. He went up to 150 a week.
I maintained my usual diet and got heavier, my hair started turning gray- never had a gray before. It was miserable
I do not recommend that stuff. I would have never started

Sounds like you had a bad doctor. Which is why I’m asking for a good doctor in the New Orleans/River Parishes area.

I ran mine through Defy Medical online shop. I know the online stuff sounds sketchy but they were pretty thorough with blood work and their procedure. They were recommended by T-Nation as well.
