As someone who competed in bb at 220 and now sits around 195 as an ultra runner and triathlete, I gotta say this guys advice is gold! What I would do to weigh 140, or even 160, and be on the test. Probably not you’re going for OP, but it would have you feeling so much better long term! And your legs would blow the frick up!

yea but i mean.....that shite is fricking hard. yea....no fricking way would i do that.

Haha! I appreciate that. I like hard, challenging shite, what can I say!
In all honesty if I didn’t have 5 herniated discs I’d still lift at 5:00am 5 days/week. That was my favorite thing I ever did, but these discs can’t take it anymore.

There really is no better feeling than when you pass someone on their left and you can just see the suffering in their face while you nose breathe up the climb.

I like pulling really hard for someone (like 4-5min @500W) and then slingshotting then ahead of someone to win a sprint they have no business winning.
But my fav is to smoke past someone at the end of a really long foot race when they have nothing left, I take their soul from them as I pass them!

Definitely makes me think and this is exactly why I brought this question to the H/F board, never know the direction it could go. I’m very goal oriented and see crosshairs once I set a goal so building muscle through weight training is the main focus as of now.

Always open to other challenges so I will be looking into these recommendations fully.

Don't deny it one bit. We are fked up bunch. I crave dishing out the hurt, it makes all the intervals on the trainer worth it. Especially when you have A+ legs that day and you basically feel nothing but the wind in your face. Your body feels like a machine. Fking nirvana.

So quick question, I started TRT about 2 weeks ago. Was prescribed 1mL/wk (Cypionate) and the last couple days I’ve noticed my nipple region has been very sensitive and sore. Anyone have this issue and how did it turn out over time?

Congrats on the impending gyno!

You need some Anastrozole. A .5mg/day dose is plenty. It’s an estrogen blocker.

Gyno is a concern of mine for sure. Just waiting to see what the doctor responds with before I handle
It myself. Looks like the estrogen blocker might be inevitable, at least in the beginning.

Arimidex is best, but I think you really need to let your levels “level out”. I think you put an unprecedented level of test in your body and your body overcompensated with too much estrogen, but it will probably level out over the next couple weeks.

Yea, I won’t go into panic mode yet. Doctors office actually just called and they prescribed me an estrogen blocker. It’s a little loud where I’m working so it sounded like anastrozole. Good call.

Will find out for sure after work. Thanks for all the advice.

Likely. No need to jump into something as strong as Arimidex just yet. Keep an eye on it and bring it up to your doc if it continues.

Anastrozole is the generic version of Arimdex.

If they give you 1mg tabs, break them in half and take .5 daily; 1mg would be overkill.

Yea you will prolly be able to start with half and then go to a quarter after 2 weeks or so.

It's more than likely just your body reacting to the sudden influx of test.

BTW take it from someone who has a shite ton of acar tissue from years upon years of injections, learn how to do subq injections and how to rotate sites for intra muscular injections.

I assume this is a life long thing for you so start rotating as much as possible now.

Yea, swapping sides was already in my mind but seems it can get more serious after years. Will look into “subq” injections. Completely ignorant to what that is but will research after work and maybe implement it in the future.

Also, I’ll look into this further but does it matter when you take the estrogen blocker each week? (Relative to the test)

Of course I’ll do my own research but am curious to anyone’s thoughts are.
