My shoulder has been clicking for the better part of 5 years.

About two weeks ago I felt a pop.

Now I can't lift anything at arms length.

Anything I can do to rehabilitate that isnt surgery?

No.
If it’s torn, it will hurt until it’s repaired.
And as bad as it will suck, getting rid of the pain was so well worth it.
Good luck.

I have a friend who has/had a mild tear and he tried stem cells. He claims it worked but to me he it's not back to what it was based on what he lifts and it has been 2 yrs. I think currently the best and quickest repair is surgery

Go make sure it’s torn. See a physician

Get the damn surgery. Then, eat red meat, drink bone stock, any way to increase your collagen intake. Keep trash out the diet.

The clicking is probably some bit of arthuritus...Mines did and still does the same thing, accompanied by occasional pain. I've been to the ortho a few times to make sure it wasn't a tear or cuff issue, and two different orthos said it is just AC joint arthritis.

I've had pops before with the arthritis, but not being able to lift anything would concern me enough to go see a damned doctor.

look at your mri.
Confer with orthopedic surgeon who has good rehab staff.

Could just be bursa is being pinched.
Cannot tell from post if pain keeps you from full movement or you really cannot do the motion.

Get references for where you live.

I thought my rotator cuff was torn. Turned out to just be shoulder bursitis. Took months to heal. I could do everything without pain except for two things: dead hang and handstand.
