They were answering questions on their Instagram about production.

The shoe is getting made regardless.
If you order on presale and they reach the 5,000 units of production presale goal - you get the shoes.

If you order on presale and they do not reach the 5,000 units of production presale goal - you get the shoes.

If you do not order on presale, when the shoes are made sales are allocated first to presale orders then to subscribers. If there are leftovers they will sell direct to non-subscribers.

They really should have cleared that up on the website.

That’s better for sure. And you’re right, none of that is on the website which is why they aren’t getting any orders. That combined with a 404 error on the terms and conditions page is... well, bush league comes to mind.

Yeah. I checked the site after you posted and was like wtf...surely they aren’t just saying give us your money and maybe we’ll make the shoe. Could use some fine tuning on the website for sure.

I might be convinced to buy a pair. I’ll see. Really have no need for them...but if it’s even mentioned in the realm of Vaporfly, Endorphin Speed, and RC Elite it’s a relative bargain at $100.

I’m still going to hold off as it still says this on the order page:

quote:

This product will only be produced if at least 5000 units are supported by October 07, 2020 16:12 (Central Time (US & Canada))

And that terms and conditions link is still broke even though they’ve been notified of it.

Still plenty of time left. Up to 20 percent now.

Have seen some reviewers posting pics of a new Skechers shoe.

Skechers Razor Elite: 23/27 stack, Hyperburst midsole with a carbon infused plate, 5.2oz in mens size 8.5, upper looks similar to the Horizon Vanish. Sounds nice.

My short, completely subjective and very amateurish review of the Endorphine Pro.

They are light and very responsive. The foam I feel could be better but the plate feels great. At higher speeds (for me that's 7:00/mi) they feel really good. I've only put 9 miles on them from my run this morning but I did enjoy them. I feel they have less cushion than the Fuel Cell TC but I think they are faster.

I know some have put them in the same realm as the Next%, but I think they are closer to the Fuel Cell TC or Carbon X. I still think for marathon race day, I'm picking up my 4% FK or Next%. I think I would only use these for halves and under.

That’s consistent with what I’ve read online too. Think the Endorphin Speed is the real star of the Endorphin lineup. On race day, most people are still gonna reach for the Next%.

Agree. The Pro's feel great, but I don't know if they justify the extra $40. The nylon plate and foam in the Speed just feel better at similar speeds. I'll try them on a longer run to see how they feel at a slower but consistent pace.

If they do a second version, I hope they up the foam some. If I had the extra foam from the Speed in this shoe, it would be perfect. I'll keep it in the rotation because the fit is great and I feel it will be more durable than the Next%.

I’m on the fence whether to pick up a pair of Pros.

The speeds are my favorite shoe.

I’m about 190lbs right now and my fast pace is about 6:50/mi. Will I even benefit from a carbon fiber plate? Or is the nylon in the speed adequate.

got some new balance kaymin fresh foams during tax free weekend. been a pleasant shoe. doesn't have the build of the 1080 which i just retired, but cushion has been really great for some pavement pounding.

like them a lot more than my brooks anthems

Got these for $50 on Amazon after seeing this post to keep them in the rotation (the V1 road version). Decided to break them in this evening on my weekly Thursday evening 5K run with my "coach" at the nearby park which is prob 50% mulch and 50% cinder. Were great addition and perfect for the terrain and distance with appropriate weight, cushion, support, and outsole ruggedness.

Atreyu changed their website and I bought a pair. As a matter of fact, I think everyone that runs and has a spare 100 should. The shoe could be absolute shite and I’d be happy supporting a small business. There’s no way it could be worse than the Speed Elite, NB 1500, or Go Meb Razor 2 which are among the worst racing shoes I’ve ever tried.

Nice. Yeah, he’s a Lake Charles baw too. I feel like even if the shoe is meh, it’s still $100. Lot of brands out there currently peddling meh shoes for $150+.

I did see there was a clarification on the foam. Apparent it isn’t a pebax, but instead a supercritical eva. Not sure what that means but none of the reviewers seem put off by it.

The sole itself doesn’t bother me much. I don’t plan on racing this shoe anyway as I’ve got a pair of Nexts with only 60 and alphas with 3 on em. Track/speed shoe is what they’ll be unless the ride is good enough for a daily trainer.

Don’t think I’ve ever bought anything but crawfish and booze from a baw, so this will be interesting.

@3N Hell yeah, I’m jelly. I’d wear that shoe with a suit.

i ditched the NB kaymins after about 50 miles. they were a tad snug and just never felt as good as the first couple of runs. i thought they'd loosen up after a few runs but never really did. decent, but probably will get thrown in the back of the car for travel. great cushion though.

i did pick up a pair of adizero primes for $30. those have been a great shoe after about 20 miles in them. my last boost shoe was OK, not great, but i'm pretty sure it was more of an athleisure shoe than an actual running shoe.

My Kaymins have held up well so far, but have only done two training cinder / mulch trail 5Ks and one 200 m interval track workout in them. They've been worth the $50 investment as an option to keep in the rotation.

So I always run in my Nike ZF 2/3’s but looking to add another pair of Nikes. Debating on taking the plunge on some 4% or Next%.
