Broke my 30 minute PR yesterday. I no longer have to claim the Disney Encanto ride as my PR.

We don't talk about Bruno PR.

Liking the 22 days of Rock thing they're doing right now. Took the Sam Yo Def Leppard 30 minute ride last night on a session. Going to brave the Kendall Iron Maiden ride this weekend.

I just did the Weezer strength training class Rebecca has this am, was fun.

Been staying at bf’s house mostly lately….only downside is I’m not near my actual Peloton bike as much. So trying to do other classes now with Peloton app in the tv. Love the Barre classes, especially ones with Hannah.

I am also liking the rock rides they are doing.

I have done the 30 min 2000's rock with Ally and the 20 min Weezer ride with Christine.

Got the 20 min Fall Out Boy ride with Ben on deck with some warmup/cooldown stacked.

The Iron Maiden ride caught my eye the other day. It's on my list. I did a 30 minute 80s ride with Kendall this morning.

How accurate do y’all think the calories burned number is? I know it varies by person but still curious what y’all think

Eta: beat my 30 min PR with Olivia’s 30min HIIT and Hills from Monday. Absolutely kicked my arse. Some of her cadence/resistance commands are not realistic…

Your taint builds up a tolerance.

I hated it at first and bought shorts with padding, but now don't even notice the seat.

Congrats on the Peloton!

Not very accurate

if you want an accurate calories reading, you need to get a HR monitor to sync it with the bike

I've even seen that with a HR monitor it can still be off. I just use my Apple Watch and connect it to the bike, but even what my watch records and what the bike shows differ. My last 30 min ride showed 423 cal burned, and the watch shows 478 total calories, but the 423 as active calories. Some guys on a FB group said they had similar differences between Garmin and the bike, and other brands and the bike. Scosche seemed to be the most accurate or favored among the group, but I'm not buying a separate HR monitor, I don't care all that much about it.

Finally broke 300 output on a 30 minute ride last night. Did a stack with a warm up and cooldown around a 30 min climb ride with Ben Alldis. It was the one from 1/27/2022 if y'all like climb rides. Came into it already warmed up so I went a little beyond the resistance callouts in that ride's warmup, and about halfway through realized I was a good bit above my PR pace. Last couple of songs were good so I was able to push through and get past 300.

I Worry about the calories I consume

Having said that, I did take on an extra HIIt class today in preparation for jazz fest

Olivia’s classes are always impossible to follow the numbers she says. I doubt she is actually doing those numbers.

I can hit 500 output on a 30 minute ride but can’t do her classes at the numbers she wants

75th ride tonight. Also found some resistance band classes this afternoon. Did a 10 min glutes and legs class followed by a 10 min upper body, both with Andy Speer. Didn’t realize they had band workouts on there but nice to know.

I haven't been brave enough to take a sweat steady class yet. Although I did take a Denis Morton 45 minute ride last night that was great. I usually stick to 30 min classes, and I shattered my 45 min PR on this one. May have to start incorporating 1-2 longer rides a week. I usually just jump in a session and most of those are 20-30.

also hit ride 300 yesterday, didn't realize it until I got 20 high fives in the first minute of taking the class.

I still haven’t taken a live class. I’m a night time rider and there is rarely one happening past lunch time.
