Not much you can do besides ice, rest, and anti-inflammatory. Tendons heal slowly because there typically isn't much blood flow to that area. Do what you can to increase blood flow is really all you can do.

I've heard CBD lotions are great for treating tendonitis.

I believe I have tendonitis in my shoulder, if that’s possible. I do rotator cuff exercises with a resistance band, take Aleve and try to stay active. It hurts the most when I wake up. Sometimes it hurts so much it wakes me up. But once I’m up and moving the pain subsides.

Here is your free medical advice. Follow the RICE method.

Rest. Ice. Compression. Elevation. Combine that with an anti inflammatory and you’re gtg.

BOLO on my LED therapy device. I’ll have some built by the end of the week.

Try a strap like this. It really helped my tendinitis.

You can also do some stretches. Straighten your arm palm down, pull your fingers back with your other hand. Next palm up, again pull your fingers back with your other hand.

And you can get a bit of relief from massaging your own arm. Push your thumb into the inside of your elbow and press around. Also massage the muscles in your forearm and upper arm directly by your elbow.

Go all the way down to the wrist as well.

A lot of times, the symptom that you see/feel is caused elsewhere.

i can attest to this. i mentioned in another thread that I impaled my upper bicep on a little sharp broken dagger branch skiing. It ripped my jacket, and broke the skin. the local wound healed up mostly, within a week. but months later i have pain similar to what others are describing in this thread.

if i curl anything heavier than a beer at certain angles it hurts from the base of my thumb to the top of my elbow. i haven't been diligent w RICE at all.
