How long do the headaches typically last when doing a sugar detox?

I've never experienced that but in general make sure you're getting lots of electrolytes. Unless you have a history of hypertension, jack up your salt intake and take a Mg tablet. Order some potassium citrate. Be careful with that as you can OD. You can use No Salt in short term.
Hydrate.
Don't worry about calories during this phase. Eat lots of good fatty stuff.

Excellent advice. Check out the Keto thread or google search for Ketoaid. It’s an electrolyte drink.

I do salt, potassium citrate and True Lemon and Lime packets w a couple drops of stevia. Tastes better than Gatorade and way better for you.

Really depends on your age and length of current way of eating. As McLemore mentioned, salt really helps. Could be 2-3 days, weeks, or months sadly. Just keep pushing through or do a step down to heavier on the fruit and step down week to week from there (time frame varies).

I think I had headaches for 3-4 days, but heed the electrolytes, potassium and magnesium advice.
I would not use artificial sweeteners at all. Don't look at it as a sugar detox, look at it as a detox from sweet flavors in all forms. I was a huge sweets addict and broke it. It's the best thing I've ever done for my health.
Good luck.
