I am still 2 days behind but. I'll end up working out Monday and Tuesday this week and probably break Wednesday, then run out the last 5 days.

Here is tomorrow's workout if you are on track:

Bench Press (2.5 to 3 min rest)

Have fun today boys. Great prep for the PR party on Thursday or Friday.

I have been using 260 as a TM and hit 250 pretty smoothly this morning. I'm aiming to hit 275 for the PR party.

At almost 40 years old and 160#, I'd be very happy with that

We’re in the same boat haha. I turned 40 on Saturday, also using 260 as TM but I weigh 170. Hoping to get 275 at the end of this as well.

I have to say the heavy singles moved the easiest that they ever have for that weight. I'm pretty sure I'll hit my 1RM since the 95% TM moved so quickly and under control. Which is good cause I don't have a spotter heh.

Ya I topped out at 315 on the 95% yesterday and I cant tell if I slept weird or if I tweaked something but my shoulders are bothering me a bit. I think I can still deadlift/bulgarian/chinup today but I may take it easy on the close grip bench weight if it feels off.

I did my max out yesterday

Got 260, went for 270 and couldn't lock my right arm.

I'm restarting pool season 2 using 270 as a training max.

I'm happy to be done with benchuary. I'm excited to get back to hitting legs multiple days a week.

I crushed out 315, 325 but 335 was a GRIND. That's what my theoretical 1RM is set from adding 5lbs to bench monthly via PPSA forever tho so I can't complain.

Main thing this month is my form has really improved on the heavy bench reps.

Solid numbers I just started my first PPSA this week after my bench strength has been struggling for a while. I decided to try Benchamin Franklin since my main concern is chest strength right now. I’m really liking it so far but it’s a totally different method than I’m used to. I’m guessing it’s all strategy and it’ll toughen up as the program goes on. It feels like I’m leaving allot in the tank each set though. Is this normal to not reach near failure on these programs?

Finished up today with new max. I went from 230 max to 255. I might have had another 5 to 10 but I didn’t have a spot, don’t want to hurt myself or risk some kind of shameful tilt/roll. Thanks to op for posting this thread. Enjoyed it and will do again next year if possible. Hopefully by this time next year I’ll be working up towards 3 plates.
