This post is like you read my mind. This impending mask nonsense has really taken me to a low place today. I’ve been dressing up, feeling confident, and finally doing well socially. Now these mask mandates make socializing and something as simple as smiling at someone impossible. It’s exhausting and frustrating that simple pleasures in life are being infringed upon by idiots in charge.

You are absolutely not worthless. You are loved and the world needs you. I hope things get better for you. You’re in my prayers.

You’re not alone.
Keep going forward and not backwards.

I’m going through one of my worst spells ever. I’ve had problems since junior high school. I am off work on disability it’s so bad. Getting out of bed is a struggle. My psychiatrist and therapist don’t know what else to do so I have been referred to someone about TMS-Transcranial magnetic stimulation. I feel totally worthless, can’t do anything productive, just wanting to die but being too scared to hurt myself. Just awful. Ready to give up.

You need to take a long hike in the wild.

I have periodic episodes of depression. Nothing like some have expressed here and you have my sympathies. Really. What works for me is exercise (I know you don't feel like moving...just make yourself start somehow). Get in the sun. Cut down on alcohol. Surround yourself with the positive. I listen to klove. Turn the news off. I take a low dose of lexipro. No dark movies. Get sleep (exercise will help). The positives start helping each other. Talking does help. Pray. Move forward.

I'm just going over friends Instagram's. Which doesn't help

OP, you can go over my Instagram, I promise it will make you feel much better about yourself and your life. Now in reality, I don't have Instagram, but if I did, the above would be true.

Turmeric

Yes the one that’s in the spice section in the grocery store. Here’s a link to an article. Inside the article are other links. :)

depression
I sound like a broken record on this, but psychedelics - particularly psilocybin - are going to be the story here for the rest of our lives. If you find you are having persistent symptoms, you should look into it.

Vitamin D helps me when I'm down. Don't know if it's a burst of energy but usually I take some and I'm at least marginally better after awhile. I try not to sit down and do nothing.
