I assume the 73 may be your model year? It is mine too. I would not do snatches. I recall that shite hurting me in high school. It is just a movement that is perfect for damaging rotator cuffs. I honestly don't think any amount of form and technique can help it.
Not even trying to be a dick. Keep doing them, but understand you will deal with injury from it. It IS a great exercise, but it exacts its pound of flesh. From your shoulder.

I generally agree with this, however if you want to do them its worth finding a coach to work with. Many lifts/exercises you can get 90%-95% right watching videos, filming yourself, taking it slow and controlled, and knowing your body. But I'm not sure that works with barbell snatches.
Also, I'm in my 40s and lift...but any injury, even a minor strain, takes twice as long to get over now. I've transitioned to thinking about the long game as far as lifting goes. Yes, I still aim to progress and get stronger, but I also want to be able to squat, dead, bench, and press well into my senior years without needing medical intervention, lord willing.

You seem to have convinced yourself that something is true that is very likely false to fit your narrative.

Is this more important than shoulder health?
