Vacation Races
I think I've asked before, but has anyone done these or anything else like it? I really want to go to the Jackson Hole race in June. Looks like an easy course with some beautiful scenery.

I've only been into running for a little over a year, so I'm learning about this stuff still.
I don't know anything about this, but it looks awesome and I bookmarked it for future use. Thanks.
ETA: I'm familiar with the Smoky Mountains course. It doesn't look like it goes into the actual park, but it is still very scenic.

Thought about training for a Half at Disney one year when my kids were younger. Decided to just take my girl for her birthday and enjoy the parks for a couple of days instead. After I read about how crowded they are around those races, made more sense to go a different weekend when it wasn't packed.

Those look awesome, thanks for sharing.
My gf and I did the St Jude’s half last year. Memphis isn’t exactly an amazing vacation destination, but for a quick race getaway I highly recommend. Well organized race and so fun running through the St Jude’s campus. Easy drive from Louisiana too.

I met a couple from Auburn at a race here in Bham last year. They were in town for something else and looked up a race. That got me to thinking and I found these guys.
My run group does a trip occasionally. Not sure where they are going next year.

Doing the LoVIT trail ultra on Feb 24 in Arkansas right outside of Hot Springs, it runs the south part of Lake Ouachita. Me and a buddy are doing the 100K, they also have a 100 miler.

I’ve done a Disney half and NYC full. Both were great trips. But I think Big Sur is the next destination race for me!

My family had a vacation race picked out from that website before covid.
They fall in a good part of the year since going forward my last hard run will be around March so it can be fun/vacation/scenery until my fall training starts.
