Just an FYI, but it looks like Rogue is stretching out their Black Friday sale to the entire month of November to make it easier from a logistics standpoint for them.

Some decent deals up to start today.

Can you explain what Matte Black November is? I can’t watch the video right now. Are they having a sale on apparel? I want some new Rogue clothes.

Looking for the stainless power bar, I may take the regular Ohio Bar, but I kind of want that center knurl.

I dropped $900 + tax and shipping today on a concept 2 rower through Rogue. No discount. More than I've ever spent on a piece of equipment but I had been thinking about it for a year and decided now or never.

Having a sale on a lot of stuff and tons of items eligible for 5 for $5 shipping. So you can get a bunch of free stuff instead of shipping for some big items.

Picked up the THOR edition Ohio Power Bar. Feels a bit cheesy, but it will last a lifetime.

That’s the 20 kg version. I got excited to see that it was on sale but realized it was the more expensive one. I think the regular power bar will be on sale later this month.

I just placed an order for the e-coated calibrated plates. I started to order the regular calibrated plates yesterday but I’m glad I waited. This seems like a really good deal.

I really didn't care. 20kg (44 and change), 45lbs didn't matter to me. I only wanted something that would last. Not into competition, just health.

Those are nice plates.

Yeah for some reason the 20 kg version is normally $50 more than the 45 lb bar. I’m not sure why though. I know the sleeves are a different color but that’s the only difference I see. I’ve been checking the boneyard on Rogue’s website daily to see if they had one of those bars on there.

The sleeves are chrome, which I'm not sure if its better to have chrome or cerakote on the sleeves. I'll probably have a bit more maintenance with the chrome sleeves with rust as it will be in a south Louisiana garage. The loadable sleeve length is slightly longer on the 20kg.

Otherwise, I'm guessing chrome is just a harder material to manufacture, so the increase in cost. I thought I read somewhere that the cerakote could wear off on the sleeves and that chrome was the better option there. I could be completely wrong.

After a day of thinking it over, I am completely excited about it.
