For those that are taking Reta, what dosage did you start with?

None. I went all the way up to 3mg with no side effects and have hit my goals and have now come back down to 2mg. I think I’ll end up staying around 1mg

I would start at 0.25mg 2x per week. if you are getting results, do not raise the dose

if you are not after 3-4 weeks

go to 0.5mg 2x per week. ride that for as long as possible. if you stall for 3-4 weeks then go to

0.5mg 3x per week

so on and so fourth. always do minimum effective dosing and ride that dose for as long as you can before increasing.

I'll just put this out there and you can do whatever you want based on your own research.

Titrate up slowly. SLOWLY. You may think the appetite suppression isn't working well enough at 1mg. Don't do a crazy ramp up like week 1, 1mg, week 2, 2mg, week 3, 3mg, week 4, 4mg, etc.

I agree with all of this.

you may have some stomach issues when you first start.

And waking up at 3-4 am wound up, I've read this is due to cortisol spikes at night.

About 50% of surveyed users complain of nausea and / or vomitting

it's a very common side effect

Anyone have experience going from tirz to reta ? If I have been on tirz 12.5mg for a while, would it change my starting dose of reta?

would start with about a 1/4 of what you were on with tirz mainly to see how you react to the addition of Glucagon mainly in the form of managing increased resting heart rate.

titrate up slowly as needed every 4 weeks.
