Questions about blood sugar, insulin and burning off glucose

I understand the basics about glucose and insulin in that if your blood sugar hits a certain point your body will release insulin into the blood stream to take excess glucose to the muscles or fat cells. I also know that you can't burn any fat while insulin is present in your blood. I simplified things to my understanding that your body runs off two fuels, glucose and fat. Stored fat is a combination of glucose, primarily, saturated fats and protein. So basically if your body has too much of glucose it will just store it as fat. My question is which process does your body use when it is burning calories/glucose? Does it go with I FIFO or LIFO?

I think it's LIFO as that's the most readily available energy source. Once your immediate sugars are burned then your body goes into creating ATP from stored energy.
Someone with a better chemistry background may be able to explain better however.

Always last in first out as it's easiest source to covert.

Ok. So essentially if I have 250g of simple carbs, but afterwards I run for an hour or so and burn off a 1000 k/c, I'd be burning off all those carbs IF the intake of the carbs hadn't spiked my blood sugar and caused my body to release insulin. Right?

Your recovery phase would continue to burn all converted energy even after your exercise.
Having said that, this depends on your sustained HR levels during exercise as well. But all in all, if all you'll eat in the day is that little and burn that much then your body will likely go into starvation mode and self preserve itself..

Not that simple really, just look at it as to lose weight you just burn more than you take in. Find your tdee and make sure you burn more than that and adjust on a two week basis. Just make sure you get plenty of protein(0.8g/per lbs of lean muscle)
