Major weight drop this week post surgery. Wasn’t a fun or exciting way to get there but goal is met nonetheless. 4 more days until I can return the gym, I can’t wait.

Good for you. Not wanting to rain on your parade but just make sure you change your way of life and create good habits such as working out and walking.
I know several people my mom being one of them that have had surgery/bypass/band of some sort and they never changed their way of life and they gained every pound back.

Thanks Bud but it was a tonsillectomy.

But I do agree with your thoughts on that. I’ve been grinding for 18 months now and have changed every habit possible.

Still sitting pretty damn flat weight wise. I'm hoping I'm in a recomp phase as my clothes are getting too big again. Figured it was time to buy some new jeans when you can put them on and off without unbuttoning them (down 5 sizes from where I started). Also a couple of my workout shirts fit like a damn parachute and have been taken out of the rotation.

Over the last month, I also noticed that I was pushing myself too much in the gym. Body aching, feeling exhausted, moody, and just tired worn out feeling. A few weeks ago I dropped my TMs 10% and started focusing on getting better quality sleep. Physically I'm feeling much better and not quite as exhausted. Still pretty moody and I can still fall asleep at will (not complaining about this one). This last week I also started wearing a weighted vest on my daily walks. Unsurprisingly, I really enjoy it. With false-fall over and the temps creeping back up, that weighted vest cranks out some sweat.

Suffice to say, I let shite go. Had a bad week, then hurricane, then a short vacation trip.

Fun's over, have no plans for the next month, time to dig my heels in.

well boys and girls, trying to set up surgery on that knee in october. gonna get it scoped, just lift upper only for a while and slowly work my way back up. gonna clean up and drain the cyst and make sure no other damage.

here is to being back around 400lbs squat next october and being able to participate in squatober next year

Don’t beat yourself up over it, vacations are meant to be fun.

275|263|???

I’ve been fasting for over a month now for my vacation which I plan on enjoying with no restrictions but will continue to participate in Squatober.

Just wondering how long should I fast/diet before I can actually attempt a bulk? I will be getting an InBody scan right before the vacation to see how close I am to 15% bf.

I’ve been holding steady. Just downloaded MacroFactor and I want to start closely tracking Intake to see exactly how much I can take in to maintain and continue building lean mass.

Hit my initial goal weight this morning. Will probably try to get down to 210 and use 210-215 as my range.

Down to 239 today, and that's with obviously packing on some muscle. I've been eating well, walking 4 to 5 miles a day, working out with real plate weights, and taking about two cardio based classes a week.
