Approaching goal hoping by end of this month

Will probably need some advice about how to maintain and diet back up. Very happy with the sustainability of my plan but after this journey I'd like to push even further in terms of body recomp, not weight. I just get unnecessarily nervous when bringing calories back up again, since I've done this twice before and failed. Clearly you guys on here have some good recs and plans.

so when you up your calories, just add protein at first and pay close attention to naval measurement vs arms. i would suggest ppsa baby. Arm farm couple times to start.

Got past my sticking point. ALMOST down to my pre-summer low of 225.

Midweek update; weight is still headed in the right direction. My morning rucking (if you call it that) combined with more focus on diet, seems to be paying off. I wanted to increase my rucking from 2.2 miles/day to 3.3 miles/day this week but opted to stay at 2.2. I wasn't confident my right shoulder could handle it's half of the 80# sandbag sitting on it for that long. It's been getting a little sore about 1.5 miles. I'm sure my side project of tearing up a sidewalk with a sledge hammer had no bearing on this...

Bad week for me. Work was horrible stressful plus allergies. I thought for a day that I had the Rona. Breathing was uncomfortable. The diet part was easy. I just wasn’t that hungry. Clothes fit better, so maybe it was a recomp week

Was going through my bookmarks and ended up reading through some of the old PTFD thread that was on the F&D board from like 6 1/2 years ago. Me, lsu777, lazy but talented, evil little thing, and net used to keep that thing poppin

We should get the band back together

Finally got the stress test for my chest pain, passed with flying colors. Confirmed I just have a weird side affect to Lisinopril, excited to start going harder on my workouts and cardio again.

What are you looking or here? Just that your naval measurement isn't increasing faster that arms? Or are we looking for a certain ratio?

ideally you want naval to go down and arms up

realistically we want naval to stay close to neutral and arms up

possible to watch naval go up slower than arms

meet any of the above and you are certainly on the right track for sure.

I saw 220.8 yesterday, so everything is trending in the right direction for me. 20 lbs to go. IDK if I can pull it off by Christmas, but I'm trying.

Trying to slowly increase calories adding protein first, feeling good about the process as opposed to in past years
Walking a bit less each day also; will modify training plan in October

8/8 I started dieting and exercising. 6 weeks in and 16 pounds down!
262/246/230

Started a turnaround last week making a little harder, but keeping disciplined and getting in at least 5 days of walking and 3-4 days of weights

I did fairly well this weekend. I did have a few beers and a little bread, but my overall caloric intake wasn't out of control. Also, I got in a ton of steps in the process.
The scale said 221 this morning, so all is well, I suppose.

Im meal prepped for the week, so food will be fine. This new pellet smoker is really paying off. I can buy large , cheaper cuts of meat and have lots of protein ready to eat.

Now, I just need to get running.
